Inclement Weather

The safety of our staff and students is our priority when making the decision to open/close or run a delayed schedule. We do not follow Northshore or Lake Washington School Districts decision. Public schools need to make any scheduling decisions by 5am due to busing and earlier start times. We will make our decision by 7:30am. This will allow us some extra time to evaluate road and driving conditions. As stated in the handbook, we allow each class to miss 2 sessions after which point, we will adjust our calendar making up the lost time at the end of the school year. 

Things to keep in mind!

• An open, close or running late decision will be made around 7:00 am.
• Please do not call the school! No one will be there!
• Check the school's website and our Facebook page for any changes to our schedule.
• Teachers will email out information as soon as they hear from the Director, which will be after 7:30am.
• If a fair amount of snow has come down and either Lake Washington or Northshore are running on emergency schedules, then we most likely will be doing something different as well.  
• If snow starts falling during the school day, make your way back to school and pick up your child so that everyone can get home safely.
